Why is travelling so frustrating?

Still writing about my first attempt to travel on my own as I promised here

I have heard, read and I am convinced that travelling gives you an opportunity to learn a lot, things you can never learn elsewhere and I really enjoyed my journey. It is indeed true that the world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page. And travelling could be very easy. But why is it really difficult? Why did I get discouraged even before starting out?

Immigration has been a strong debate topic for a long time, but its right now, with the proposed wall and travel ban in the US…

Travelling would have been easier if we lived in a world without borders, but that is just a dream for now because countries are trying to build more walls and protect themselves.

I ask myself, why do some people have the chance to travel to 150 countries without much stress about visas? Why do some get visas without passing through all the stress? I know that explaining that would lead to a long discuss, but it still bothers me, considering the fact that I had to spend about 3 hours with immigration officials at the airport, just because I was to transit through Spain(Barcelona). I was taken up and down round their offices, and asked very funny questions, like why I had to transit through Barcelona.

Many times people overlook these kinds of stories, some even consider it OK, as they think it is the solution to controlling illegal immigration. It is not. It can never be. Letting people pass through all this stress and sometimes humiliation is not a solution. A better solution has to be proffered. In as much as I want to travel as much as I can, and would love to grab any opportunity, I would not like to pass through such frustration over and over again.
