Painfully, she wondered what was next

DRABBLE WORD: ZONE

She was dazed, shocked, upset, in her zone, unaware of the world remembering the day's event. For the past five years, the Fourth of July was the same and today was no different. A trip to the cemetery, crying, pouring her heart out. She missed him, and how lonely she was.

She reminisced, about the day's events, choking, looking at the flowers in her hand. Approaching his grave, she stopped in her tracks, a young woman, sobbing, begging for an answer. How could she move on, when he wasn't here? Who was she? Why was she at her husband's grave?
