Trump Signs on to Conflicts of Interest:

Trump’s signing of executive actions advancing construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline(DAPL) and Keystone XL pipeline is unconstitutional as well as a blatant disregard for the boundary set between govt and private industry. Without providing proof, or even statement that he has sold his shares in Philips 66, a company that has investments in DAPL, Trump has effectively proven himself to be with conflicts of interest. The Dakota Access Pipeline was unfairly routed through sovereign Native American territory after other towns feared contamination to their local water supplies. This sovereign reservation should be protected under the 1851 treaty of Ft. Laramie, a treaty which has been all together ignored by Philips 66 as well as President Trump. It goes without saying that we cannot allow Donald Trump’s assets, which have not been placed into a blind trust, to effect his policy making. Within his first week of office Trump has shown the effects of his inability to follow procedures of decency regarding conflict of interest. Contact your local senator and voice your opinion regarding this conflict of interest, and rejecting the advancement of the DAPL and Keystone XL pipelines.
