How mindful breathing will make you more successful and less anxious

Who is this breathing? Most of the time “you” are not aware of it. When “you” become aware of it, “you” can tweak it a little: faster, shallower, slower, deeper, stop it altogether, but only very briefly until “your” need to breathe reasserts itself? Whose need to breathe?

Has something astonishing or terrifying ever made you “catch your breath”? Really? Or perhaps the astonishment caught your breath and you just happened to notice? Doesn’t it seem, I dunno, a little egocentric, a little controlling, to lay claim to “your” breath?

Maybe I could go on, but, as I’m sure you’ve figured out by now, breathing or not, I’m not really sure who I am, let alone who you are.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
