Hold Right Click then use WASD to move around speeding up or slowing down with the scroll wheel.

If you lose track of an object you can click the object in the hierarchy to highlight it in the scene then press the f in the scene to snap the focus to the object.

QWERTY are hot keys associated with the Transform tool
Q is the Hand tool for moving around the scene
W is the Translate or Move tool for moving the object around in the scene
E is the Rotate tool for changing the rotation of the object in the scene
R is the Scale or Rect tool for changing the size or scale of the object in the scene
T is the Rect tool for changing the size of UI objects specifically::
Y is the MoveRotateScale combination tool that allows you to manipulate all 3 aspects on the object at once.
