5 of the Hottest Superhero Movies of 2017

This year is set to see some absolutely stunning remakes and sequel to some of the biggest superhero movies of the decade. We’ve narrowed the selection down to the top 10 that we think are going to be the best and hottest of the year!

The Lego Batman Movie

Cast: Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, Ralph Fiennes.

Release date: 10th February 2017 (This is already in cinemas!)

This movie takes DC Comics to another level and makes it suitable for the entire family so you can takes your sisters kids when you’re looking after them on the weekend when they won’t calm down AND walk away with a hot single dad’s phone number *wink*. In all seriousness, this movie will deliver. It’s full of comedy and is a perfect tongue-in-cheek spin of its 2014 predecessor The Lego Movie. It sees an all star cast aid Batman (voiced by Will Arnett) learn the importance of teamwork with help from his nemesis The Joker (voiced by Zach Galifianakis) as he tries to take over Gotham City.

Cast: Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant.

Release date: 3rd March 2017 (You can go and watch this tonight!)

This will be the final installment of the Wolverine movies and we’re all very sad about the future lack of hotness that is Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, this movie does promise to be extraordinary. This is set years in the future of X-Men: Days of Future Past and sees Logan as one of the last remaining mutants, and we see him working with Charles Xavier to protect a young girl who is similar to Logan in her abilities. we think this looks like it’s going to be a real tear jerker, so maybe go and see this with your girlfriends, not the guy you’ve been seeing for a month.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Cast: Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Kurt Russell.

Release date: 28th April 2017

Chris Pratt, super buff, yes please need we even say more? This is set a few months after the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie and we see the crew struggling to stick together with their multitude of personalities whilst Pete Quill (played by Chris Pratt) learns more about his past.

Wonder Woman

Cast: Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright

Release Date: 2nd June 2017

We’re really excited about this movie because what could be better than a badass woman taking on all the bad guys? We want to be Wonder Woman, it’s no secret. This is going to be set during the First World War and sees Amazon princess Diana (played by Gal Gadot) finding American military pilot Steve Trevor (played by Chris Pine) washed up on the shore of the island of Themyscira and after learning about the events of the war, she decides to help him out with her wonderful powers.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Cast: Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Robert Downey Jr. Marisa Tomei.

Release date: 7th July 2017

Fans have been kept waiting since the release of Captain America: Civil War where Peter Parker was reborn, being played by cute new kid on the block Tom Holland. This movie looks like it’s going to show an insight into the life of Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) and how he balances his life as a high school student and as Tony Stark (played by Robert Downy Jr.) mentors him to become the best crime fighting superhero and is set a few months after the events of Civil War.
