Absolutely. It’s just not fair.

Just as we have divested ourselves of our responsibility to be informed in areas as diverse as education, health, we allow ‘the news’ to dictate the manner in which we become informed on current affairs.

I’m consistently surprised at how many people think they have the answers when they only pay a passing attention to only one source of ‘news’.

Looking in from the outside, its noticeable that the US election cycle never stops. Trump was back rallying February 18, 2017 — only 29 days after he was installed in the WH — I would have thought he was far too busy to lose an entire day on something so frivolous — in fact, other than tweeting and golfing, it seems to be the thing he spends most of his valuable time doing.

The media has to fill their 24 hours with something and to remain profitable, that something has to be cheap — not expensive peer-reviewed research or documentaries or sending OB units out to equally cover candidates — much better to just pay KellyAnnPolls to do your work for you and then regurgitate the result as if it was an actual fact.

I like our electioneering system — limited in finance, limited in time (4 weeks!), equal in media coverage, strict on untruth and dirty tricks.

You get what you pay for I guess and, as with much of society in the US, everything is up for sale.

Kamala just needs to play the game and spend MORE!

Isn’t that how you make it fair?
