Good over Evil. Life over Death.

After years of being dormant, it reared its ugly head. Red hot, molten lava spewed out of its wide mouth, destroying everything in its wake. The sudden awakening of the volcano left the land barren and lifeless. Everything was dark. Still. The ash from the burning embers settled over the land, a sheet of grey over everything that was once living, a symbol of Death. The heavens cried copious tears at the loss of life. Lightning parted the skies. Thunder rumbled. Raindrops cleansed the land.

And then, suddenly, a bud sprouted through the rock. Once again, Life triumphed.
