Poland’s Sopot town has an unusually shaped building named Krzywy Domek, which stands for ‘crooked house’ in English. It was constructed in 2004, and is a part of the Rezydent shopping center. Designed by the architectural firm Szotyńscy & Zaleski, the building is inspired by the fairytale drawings of Polish illustrator Jan Marcin Szancer. It is about 4,000 square meters (43,000 sq ft) in size.
