The Magic Shamrock

When we’ve arrived in Ireland, we have got two shamrock brooches from two kind neighbour over Christmas — Diane and Richard. Unfortunately, in March, I may have pinned up my brooch in a wrong way so I lost it. I had no idea where this happened. It seemed hopeless to find a less than 1 cm diameter brooch. I was utterly sad, and I felt as I have lost my fortune. Then I consoled myself as we had one left because zeD has not lost his. So we had half of luck left.
One day I have found the back piece of the brooch on the carpet. I have thought it’s mine. I started to be happy and hoping my brooch’s other piece is near and I will find it soon. But it was the back piece from zeD’s brooch. My hope has gone for a long time.
Then today (June) while walking to the River Slaney on our usual way. dormiN was a little bit grumpy, because we told him Lilly — our Steiner doll — cannot bath in the river. We’ve just strolled by the little pine woods. Me walking head bowed, as usually, scanning the surface for treasures. And yes, it was there. In front of my eyes laying on the ground. I couldn’t believe it, brightly winking at me even from down in the dirt.
I know that was the fairy or leprechaun — dressed in moss with beautiful green diaphanous wings. Who flew on my camera bag last time and disappeared when I gazed at her / him for an instant. Thank you Unknown Fairy or Fortune or anything that helped us find each other :)!
