Hi Elissa, thank you for this little but precious gem. Having been on an extended sabbatical myself, I also struggled whenever I was asked the IPAR question. It took me some while to figure out the best answer — and then I understood. My audience needed the term “I invest” included and suddenly everything was fine. Thus my new IPAR was “I’m investing my saved money not in a car nor a boat nor a horse — I invest it in time spent for me and what I want to do.” I wonder, if it would work in your case, too?
