Jamie Artin, when Trump losses 13 ‘unanimous’ times to SCOTUS on the separation of powers as Obama did, then I’ll consider Trump “walking all over the separation of powers and just doing his own thing”. Until then, Obama will continue to hold that title along with his “pen and phone”. It is not ‘OK’ for Trump to ignore the Constitution just as it was not OK for Obama to have done it…, did you care then or did you just look the other way? I have yet to see Trump do anything that is not within his Constitutionally authorized powers, including the EO’s, unlike what Obama and his EO’s did for 8 years. It is not just signing an EO, it is what the intent of the EO is for. So far Obama has signed the most EO’s (or Executive Memoranda, which are virtually the same) than any president to date. Will Trump surpass him? I hope not, but we will see. So tell me, what has Trump done that is not within his Constitutionally authorized powers that is “walking all over the separation of powers”?.
