Right. I did say credible lists, but that’s fair, even that’s quite ambiguous.

Personally, I don’t just look at any old list. I’ll go directly to someone who’s thinking I respect (e.g. Sam Harris, Daniel Kahneman, Yuval Harari. Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates regularly share their reads, too) And then to rule out books like the Alchemist (which I never really loved either), I tend to go to Goodreads and read actual reviews, which gives me a strong idea.
