ZULU BSC Testnet Guide
1. Install MetaMask plugin in Google browser
1.1 Install MetaMask
MetaMask is a plug-in wallet that runs on Google Chrome. Firstly you need to prepare a Google Chrome. After installation, go to the official address of the plug-in to download: https://metamask.io/
1.2 Create your wallet
Create-Agree to the agreement-Set a password, complete the wallet creation.
2. Add BSC testnet in MetaMask
2.1 Click MetaMask in the plugin bar
Choose custom RPC
2.2 Enter BSC testnet settings
- Network Name：Smart Chain — Testnet
- New RPC URL: https://data-seed-prebsc-1-s1.binance.org:8545/
- ChainID：97
- Symbol：BNB
- Block Explorer URL：https://testnet.bscscan.com
After entering successfully, click [Save] to generate ZULU wallet
3. Get test token
3.1 Click the link to get test token
https://testnet.binance.org/faucet-smart
3.2 Enter the homepage of getting test token
3.3 Enter the wallet address in the input box 1, and click ‘Give me BNB’ to get test BNB
3.4 If you want to get tokens other than BNB, click ‘Peggy tokens’ and select the token that you want
4. Get zlUSD at ZULU
4.1 Link your wallet
Click the link https://app.zulufinance.org Enter ZULU, click the “Connect wallet” button in the upper right corner.
Choose the wallet you like, You can choose from ‘MetaMask’ and ‘WalletConnect’ to connect the ZULU Dapp.
After connecting to your wallet, you will see more detailed information.
4.2 Open trove to borrow zlUSD
Head over to zulufinance.org and click on ‘Trove’.
The borrow section of the website displays various assets that can be used as collateral. Here are some examples, simply click ‘Open Trove’ to borrow some zlUSD
decide how much BNB will be used as collateral, then decide how much zlUSD will be borrowed.
Below “My Trove” you can see the trove which just opened, and you can click “claim” button to claim your reward.
4.3 Stability Pool
Head over to zulufinance.org and click on ‘Stability Pool’.
Choose any pool to deposit your zlUSD which you want to get a corresponding reward. simply click ‘Deposit’, We are going to use ‘Earn BNB and ZUL’ as an example.
Decide how much zlUSD you want to deposit or withdraw.
You can find your deposit under ‘Joined Stability Pool’. You can claim your reward by clicking the ‘claim’ button.
4.4 Staking
Head over to zulufinance.org and click on ‘Staking’.
Stake ZUL to earn the fee generated in the protocol, simply click ‘Action’.
You can choose ‘Reward Boost’ or ‘Ordinary’.
Stake ZUL adopts a boosting mechanism. The boosting speed is correlated to the lock time. The longer lock time will get a higher boost speed.
You can find your stake under ‘Earn Protocol Fee’. You can claim your reward by clicking the ‘claim’ button.
4.5 Redeem
When the market price of zlUSD drops under $1, can do the redeem with zlUSD worth $1 from the most risk Troves on the protocol to arbitrage.
Head over to zulufinance.org and click on ‘Redeem’.
Select an asset that you want to redeem. We are going to use BNB as an example.
Fill in the $zlUSD amount you want to redeem.
