There are many skyscrapers in #Pakistan that are touching the height extremes. The Habib Bank Plaza was the first ever skyscraper built in Karachi in 1963. Since then, an era of taller buildings emerged which surpassed the tallest plaza constructed.

In #Pakistan, there are almost 20 buildings having an incredible height of 100 meters and above which are either already build or are under construction. Karachi has the major proportion of tallest buildings in its vicinity followed by our capital, Islamabad. Lahore comes at third place regarding the possession of tall buildings.

1. Bahria Icon Tower — Karachi

This is the largest building in Pakistan having 70 floors. Bahria Icon Tower is situated in Karachi having a tremendous height of 320 meters. This tower is owned by Mr. Malik Riaz who is a famous construction industry tycoon. Many shopping malls and residential apartments are present in this beautiful tower.

2. Bakht Tower — Karachi

This beautiful tower is in the localities of Karachi having height of 145m. The tower has opened this year and has 27 floors. This tower was completed in 2015.

3. Ocean Towers — Karachi

The old name of this tower was The Mall or The Sofitel Hotel Plaza. The building presents a beautiful outside view as it is located in the sea-side area near Clifton.

It took 7 years to complete this skyscraper, starting from 2007 till 2014. The height of this tower is 120 meters and has 30 floors. 7 billion Pakistan Rupees were spent on this mega project.

4. MCB Tower — Karachi

This beauty also lies in Karachi having 29 floors. It was built in 2005 having an enormous height of 116m. It has 29 floors in all.

5. Ufone Tower — Islamabad

Now comes the turn of Islamabad where this tower is situated in the lush Blue Area. Having a height of 113 meters, Ufone Tower comes at fourth place. This tower comprises of 24 floors and its construction started in 2005 and was completed in 2011.

The building was built by Pakistan Telecommunication Trust and the overall design was given by Nespak.

6. Centaurus — Islamabad

This sky touching man made structure stands at height of 110m in the premises of Islamabad. There are three skyscrapers in this enormous building which are all connected to a shopping mall. Each building has 32 floors and the total cost of this monument was $350 million. Its construction started in the year 2005 and was completed in 2011. The Centaurus Mall lies in the locality of this skyscraper which is ranked as the largest mall in Pakistan till now. The skyscrapers are named as Centaurus Corporate Tower, Centaurus Residential Tower 1 and Centaurus Residential Tower 2. There are shopping malls, corporate offices, residential apartments and a 5 star hotel in there.

7. Center Point Tower — Islamabad

This tower is again found in Islamabad having an estimated height of 110m. The tower initiated its operations in 2013 and has 28 floors in it.

8. Bahria Town Tower — Karachi

This beautiful building is located in Karachi and was established in 2012. This 27 floor building has a total height of 108 meters. It is officially built by Bahria Town privately. Bahria Town won 5 awards in May 2012 for being the largest real estate investor in Pakistan.

9. Mega G4 Corporate Tower — Karachi

This tall tower has the same height as of Bahria Town Tower i.e. 108 meters. This building lies I the localities of Karachi which officially opened in 2016. There are 27 floors in the Corporate Tower.

10. Arfa Software Technology Park — Lahore

This was known as Software Technology Park before. This beautiful building is located in the boundaries of Lahore on Ferozepur Road. The construction of this skyscraper started in 2006 and ended in 2012. Technologically, it is the largest IT Park in Pakistan, specifically in Punjab. The total height of this Technology Park is 106 meters and has 17 floors. This park is owned by the Punjab Information Technology Board which is a great honor for this skyscraper.
