Faking a Mandate

Not surprised that few in the winning camp bothered to read the whole article or comprehend the main point. Trump won the election by the rules of the game, but failed to “win” in the sense that he got fewer votes. Kind of like scoring more points in the Super Bowl but losing because your time got fewer first downs. Or a murder trial where the video footage of the crime is inadmissible because of a clerical error on the search warrant.

It’s not a matter of sore losers — just pointing out that the embarrassing display of hubris isn’t mending fences or “bringing the country together” and sweeping change shouldn’t be the order of the day.
