Don’t Simply Make Commitments

It’s way harder to keep than I think

I made a few commitments. And I wasn’t able to keep them. I feel bad.

  • committed to put x number of hours in a project weekly, and failed.
  • committed to push code to git everyday, and failed.
  • committed to write a blog every week, and failed.

I feel guilty when I failed to keep them. So I think, since it is hard to keep the promise, I shouldn’t simply make any of it.

This is a reminder to myself.
