So, besides the news that Queen Elizabeth is touring the set of the Iron Throne. And by John Oliver’s admission that she will be

“embodying the harsh irony that is her existence … a queen with fake power, visiting a fake kingdom that arguably has more impact on the lives of her country than she does.”

For those of you following the recent news barrage that is Yo, I have found a few more giggles.

A Buzzfeed author posted the scathingly brilliant piece titled, 17 Apps That Are A Much Better Idea Than The Million Dollar App “Yo” and it gets better.

I love the fact that the founders of Yo noted it took only “2 hours to create,” and have already received 1 million in funding.

And that the review are comedy gold.

Or even TechCrunch’s cute parody of “Yo”, called “Meh”

But the best part of my day, was seeing this post:

Like the Silicon Valley HBO series, sometimes we must laugh at ourselves. Art mimics reality, and tech can do a marvelous job of striving to disrupt our behaviors for the pursuit of progress. Don’t take yourself too seriously. These guys did a pretty fine job at riding that fine line between satire and reality.


They might be serious, but let’s hope they’re not..
