You’ll Never Guess Who’s the Biggest Mass Murderer in History! 11 contestants, but only one champion who makes Hitles, Stalin, and Mao look like gentle, people-loving hippies in comparison. Who could it be?

11 candidates are fighting to become the greatest genocidal murderer in history, but only one can be at the top. It’s not Hitler, Mao, Stalin, or any other well-known tyrant.

It’s someone we’ve all heard of and know of his biggest mass murdering atrocities, but he still manages to keep the “good guy” vibe somehow. In fact, people love him with all their hearts. You’ve heard of Stockholm syndrome, but this one takes the cake.

There are very few things in life that surprise me more than the idea that someone who has repeatedly murdered, mutilated, and annihilated men, women, children, and even animals with a passion on a scale unheard of before and since, just because he didn’t like them, is considered the ultimate good guy and love personified. I mean, really? Really?

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Countless people still worship Hitler and his ideologies despite being universally recognized as the personification of evil. Yet, Naci flags and symbols are still present in many societies. Only recently, student campuses and busy streets have been filled with Naci sympathizers and even open supporters of terrorist organizations.

You know — the ones who target and murder innocent civilians and use their deaths as propaganda for their message? Instead of paying for ad space, like the rest of us, they target a group of civilians and try to kill as many of them as possible to get the attention of the media. Yes, those terrorists. Apparently, they’re the good guys now.

There are also millions of capitalistically spoiled brats who believe communism and socialism are good ideas despite being directly responsible for the most horrible, unjust, and inhumane treatment of humans in history. Ignorance is not an excuse. Perhaps this list will illuminate their heroes in a different light.

Trigger warning

Before we go on, I must warn you that things are about to get triggering for some of you. Truth does not cater to your emotions, and humans are sensitive to ideas that conflict with our core beliefs. Alas, I’ve apparently decided to kick this hornet’s nest.

Maybe it’s the sense of duty and obligation to point out the obvious fallacies that people seem to ignore completely. Call me crazy, but I believe it’s important to be able to voice one’s concerns openly and call a genocidal murderer a genocidal murderer when he routinely indiscriminately murderers everyone that he doesn’t approve of!

Let’s start from number 11 and move upward on the list of the biggest murderers in history. Oh, the suspense is killing me! Who could be worse than the first 10 on this list?

But wait! How does one judge the success of genocidal bastards?

In reality, we would have to analyze their motivations, goals, and targeted population. Too much work and too relative. How about this — we’ll compare their numbers with the number of all people who are estimated to have lived at that time in the world. If they hope to compete with our genocidal winner, they have to reach for the stars or the annihilation of everyone on the planet, in the case of the Genocide Olympics.

The data below was primarily acquired from AI (chat GPT) and Wikipedia of all places, so take it as an approximation and a rough estimate, as no one really knows the exact numbers anyway. Images of our candidates are also from Wikipedia. Links are accessible by clicking on the name of each candidate.

May the Genocidal Olympics begin!

Honorable mention for killing the most civilians in record time goes to:

President Harry S. Truman

Source of image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_S._Truman

He was the 33rd president of the United States, serving from 1945 to 1953, and a member of the Democratic Party. Truman authorized the first and only use of nuclear weapons in the war against the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, leading to Japan’s surrender and the end of the world war.

He’s the only man who ever managed to murder over 100,000 innocent civilians, men, women, and children with nuclear weapons, most in the span of hours, and he stands undefeated in his speedy disposal of victims to this day.

Since he was one of the “good guys,” he was never tried for the genocide of Japan’s civilian population, plus his motives were pure — he was trying to stop the war. Still, a worthy mention among these famous men is a Democrat who may have saved millions of lives by vaporizing a hundred thousand civilians. His legacy brought decades of peace, as no one dared risk meeting the same fate as his enemies on that dark, dark day.

His cruelty was approved for the greater good, similar to what other candidates believed. The difference was that he was on the winning side. Winners write history, and most of the other men on this list are losers. It’s so funny how that works, isn’t it?

11th place — Saddam Hussein

Source of image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saddam_Hussein

Saddam Hussein, as the President of Iraq, was responsible for numerous human rights abuses, including the suppression of political dissent, the use of chemical weapons against civilians, and the persecution of ethnic and religious minorities.

And he had weapons of mass destruction and was friends with the terrorists from al-Qaeda! Oh, wait. Wrong guy. Nevermind.

Saddam ordered the 1980 invasion of Iran. At the end of the war, he carried out the brutal Anfal campaign against Kurds, recognized by Human Rights Watch as an act of genocide. Naughty, naughty! Later, Saddam initiated the Gulf War and lost. I’m afraid 11th place is for losers and these are some rookie numbers, Mr. Hussein.

  • People killed: 0.3–1 million
  • Approximate world population at the time: 5.7–6 billion
  • The success rate of genocide per planet population: (0.3/5700) * 100 ≈ 0.005%

10th place — Kim Il-sung

Source of image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Il_Sung

Kim Il-sung, this handsome leader of North Korea, established a socialist personalist dictatorship with a centrally planned economy characterized by political repression, forced labor camps, and widespread human rights abuses.

He authorized the invasion of South Korea. Millions of North Koreans are believed to have died as a result of famine, executions, and political persecution under his rule. Just another socialist doing good in this world, I suppose. I mean, 10th place ain’t bad, but that’s nothing to write home about. Good enough, apparently, for him to have been declared an eternal president after his death in 1994. He might have gotten higher on our list if he wore a nice mustache. Just saying.

  • People killed: 1–3 million
  • Approximate world population at the time: 2.5 billion
  • The success rate of genocide per planet population: (1/2500) * 100 = 0.04%

9th place — Hirohito

Source of image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hirohito

Emperor Hirohito of Japan was the symbolic leader of Japan during World War II, under whose reign Japan committed numerous war crimes and atrocities, including the massacre of civilians, forced labor, and the use of chemical and biological weapons. He was one of the longest-reigning monarchs in the world, with his reign of 62 years being the longest of any Japanese emperor.

During Hirohito’s reign, Japan waged a war across Asia in the 1930s and 40s. For someone who was never prosecuted and might have only been a figurine of the bloodthirsty generals, 9th place isn’t the worst. Not to mention, it took not one but two whole nuclear bombs to stop him. Not bad for a young man, not bad.

  • People killed: 3–5 million
  • Approximate world population at the time: 2.3 billion
  • The success rate of genocide per planet population: (3/2300) * 100 ≈ 0.13%

8th place — Pol Pot

Source of image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pol_Pot

Pol Pot, as the leader of the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia, orchestrated the Cambodian genocide, during which an estimated 1.7 to 2.5 million people died due to execution, forced labor, starvation, and disease in labor camps and rural collectives. He was a Cambodian communist revolutionary, politician, and dictator who ruled Cambodia as Prime Minister of Democratic Kampuchea between 1976 and 1979.

He was central to Cambodia’s Marxist–Leninist movement, a communist, and a Khmer ethnonationalist. Pursuing complete egalitarianism, he abolished money and forced all citizens to wear the same black clothing. He would be popular today! I dig the minimalism, though, just not the forced part.

Oh, look, another communist who claimed to want the best for everyone while ending up in the high rankings of our Genocidal Olympics. What are the odds? White kids at the college campuses are going red with disdain, screaming, “Misinformation! Just because it didn’t work for them, it doesn’t mean it won’t work for us! You’re either with us or a dirty capitalist who must be destroyed. For the good of all!” Sure. Sure. Sounds like love and equality to me, too.

  • People killed: 1.7–2.5 million
  • Approximate world population at the time: 3.7 million
  • The success rate of genocide per planet population: (1.7/3700) * 100 ≈ 0.05%

7th place — Hideki Tojo

Source of image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hideki_Tojo

Hideki Tojo was a Japanese politician, military leader, and convicted war criminal who served as prime minister of Japan and president of the Imperial Rule Assistance Association during World War II. He oversaw Japanese military aggression and atrocities in Asia and the Pacific, resulting in the deaths of millions of people, including civilians, prisoners of war, and victims of massacres such as the Nanking Massacre.

We found Japan’s real gangster instead of Hirohito mentioned above! Look at all those medals and the round glasses — a true gentleman and scholar on the outside and a monster within.

  • People killed: 5–6 million
  • Approximate world population at the time: 2.3 billion
  • The success rate of genocide per planet population: (5/2300) * 100 ≈ 0.22%

6th place — Leopold II of Belgium

Source of image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leopold_II_of_Belgium

Finally, a white man on our list. Honestly, we felt left out, especially after being the obligatory bad guys throughout history. After reading a bit about this well-bearded gentleman, I’m impressed. He’s a capitalist who could match the brutality of the socialists! Socialist sympathizers — rejoice! We have our bad guy. Release the posters!

Leopold II, as the King of Belgium and the ruler of the Congo Free State (present-day Democratic Republic of the Congo), is responsible for the deaths of millions of Congolese people due to forced labor, violence, and exploitation during his colonial rule. And for what? Money, not even some lofty, unattainable ideals! Shame on you, Leopold.

He was the founder and sole owner of the Congo Free State, a private project undertaken on his behalf as a personal union with Belgium. Leopold ran the Congo using the mercenary Force Publique for personal gain. He essentially made Congo his private company with unpaid labor.

Leo initially extracted a fortune from the territory by collecting ivory and forcing labor from the native population to harvest and process rubber. A proper white exploiter who made money on the backs of African slaves! Wait, but he’s not American? That’s weird. Oh well.

Leopold’s administration was characterized by systematic brutality and atrocities in the Congo Free State. Forced labor, torture, murder, kidnapping, and the amputation of the hands of men, women, and children when the quota of rubber was not met were deemed “crimes against humanity.” We have no information about the carrot part of the game, but he definitely had a stiff stick.

  • People killed: 2–15 million (hm, somewhat a large margin for error)
  • Approximate world population at the time: 1.6 billion
  • The success rate of genocide per planet population: (2/1600) * 100 ≈ 0.13%

We’ve reached our top five contestants, all hoping to win the “Best Killer in Human History” award. Who are you cheering for?

5th place — Genghis Khan

Source of image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genghis_Khan

Genghis Khan, the founder and emperor of the Mongol Empire, led military campaigns that resulted in the deaths of millions of people across Asia and Europe. These deaths occurred in battles, massacres, and the sacking of cities during the Mongol conquests.

His early story reads like Conan the Barbarian’s, and he ruled about as mercifully as a sword-wielding maniac. Temüjin, his real name, formally adopted the title “Genghis Khan,” the meaning of which is uncertain, at an assembly in 1206.

Carrying out reforms designed to ensure long-term stability, he then transformed the Mongols’ tribal structure into an integrated meritocracy dedicated to the service of the ruling family. Now, meritocracy joins the ranks of top-killing political structures. No man left behind — I mean no social, political, and ideological systems. So inclusive of us!

  • People killed: 10–20 million
  • Approximate world population at the time: 350–400 million (13th century)
  • The success rate of genocide per planet population: (10/375) * 100 ≈ 2.67%

Alright, almost 3% of the world’s population. Not bad, Genghis Khan, not bad at all. Feared by all your neighboring countries while fathering a gazillion babies and studying philosophy. It is rumored that 16 million people are direct descendants of Genghis Khan. Where does this math come into play? We don’t know.

Something odd is happening. Why is this all so familiar? Oh, yes, Elon Musk is all about meritocracy, likes philosophy, is rich as a medium-sized country, and is trying to repopulate the planet with his own balls and colonize space. It’s good that his childhood wasn’t as tragic then, or we’d all be in a lot of trouble.

4th place — Adolf Hitler

Source of image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolf_Hitler

Ah, our favorite failed artist, vegetarian animal lover, and minimalistic mustache fashion killer, lovingly called Dolphy among friends. The man, the myth, the legend himself! He, who is compared with Satan, the epiphany of evil and on the tip of everyone’s tongues when they don’t like someone. “You’re a Hitler. He’s a Hitler! She’s a naci!”

Hitler may not be the absolute winner in numbers, but he has won our collective hearts nonetheless. The “Propaganda Champion” award is his, and there was no contest. Apart from our number one killer, who also managed to remain on everyone’s minds but in a positive light, despite putting all of these contestants to shame several times over.

Adolf Hitler, as the leader of Nazi Germany, orchestrated the Holocaust, during which six million Jews, along with millions of others, including Romani people, disabled individuals, LGBTQ+ individuals, and political dissidents, were systematically murdered in concentration camps and through other means. Not to mention, he essentially started World War II, the most devastating conflict in human history.

People also seem to, rather conveniently, forget that he was also a socialist. A lover of all equality, but only if he approved it, as usual. The NAZI party literally means National Socialist German Workers’ Party. If there was ever a most benevolent, well-meaning brand hiding a murderous beast beneath, it was this.

I suppose we could also call him a master of propaganda and manipulation. He was very popular, not only in his home country but also among the young in America before they realized who they were “worshiping.” Nothing to see here. There is absolutely no resemblance to what is happening right now. No, Sir. None whatsoever. History never repeats.

Wherever Hitler is buried, somewhere in South America apparently, he must be turning in his grave right now! People have been trying to take his Holocaust number away from him. With this tempo, soon it will be revealed that he merely escorted a few Jews to the train station and only suggested they give up their gold and go bother some Arabs. Worse yet, we’ll have to bump his down our list a hefty few places.

He’s also the only person I’ve ever seen who people fantasized about killing when he was a baby. Perhaps pretending to like his art and accepting that he likes salad and not “pork schnitzel” would have been enough to direct his life away from mass murder into a life of love and prosperity. Undoubtedly, he was an immensely capable individual who unfortunately became a monster instead of a hero. There’s a lesson in there, I’m sure.

Like, comment, and share — or else!”

  • People killed: 11–17 million
  • Approximate world population at the time: 2.3–2.4 billion
  • The success rate of genocide per planet population: (11/2300) * 100 ≈ 0.48%

3rd place — Joseph Stalin

Source of image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Stalin

Joseph Stalin, as the leader of the Soviet Union, was responsible for the deaths of millions of people through purges, forced labor camps (Gulags), executions, and policies that led to famine and mass starvation, such as the Holodomor in Ukraine. Sure, he’s a bad guy, but just look at that face. He oozes with confidence and pride. And the mustache sealed the deal and got him the podium, no doubt.

Stalin coined the term Marxism–Leninism to outline his Leninist interpretation of Marxism, also known as Stalinism. Still, do not be confused — it’s communism. Even Hitler didn’t like communism, and that says a lot!

Stalin doesn’t get the spotlight he deserves because most of the people he killed were his countrymen, as is customary for socialists and communists. This fact alone should make him worse than, say, Hitler, but somehow, no one cares about the millions of old Soviets or Russians today.

Under Stalin, socialism became a central tenet of the party’s ideology, with a centralized command economy. Oh, look. That’s not unlike what the powers that be are trying to do right now in the West. How did that turn out? Not so well.

Severe disruptions to food production contributed to the famine of the 1930s, including the Asharshylyk in Kazakhstan and the Holodomor in Ukraine. Stalin instituted the Great Purge, in which over a million were imprisoned to keep the opposition quiet, largely in the Gulag system of forced labor camps, and at least 700,000 were executed. I hear he didn’t like farmers either, just like our benevolent leaders of today. Wonderful, just wonderful.

Guess what — he wasn’t only a bad guy. Shocker, I know. His Red Army helped defeat Hitler’s forces and turned the tide in World War II. Perhaps you do need a monster to defeat a monster. Millions of Soviets died fighting Hitler’s forces, and there might not have been any victory over Hitler without this particular monster and his ability to sacrifice his people without a second thought.

  • People killed: 20–40 million
  • Approximate world population at the time: 1.5–1.7 billion
  • The success rate of genocide per planet population: (20/1600) * 100 ≈ 1.25%

Second place — Mao Zedong

Source of image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mao_Zedong

Mao Zedong was a Chinese politician, Marxist theorist, military strategist, poet, and revolutionary who founded the People’s Republic of China (PRC). He is primarily associated with the deaths resulting from the Great Leap Forward and the Cultural Revolution.

Ah, yes. Culture plus revolution — what a great mix, isn’t it? During these campaigns, millions of people died due to famine, persecution, and political violence.

Here are a few of his eerily familiar ideas of the left of today:

  • He adopted Marxism–Leninism while working at Peking University as a librarian and became a founding member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), leading the Autumn Harvest Uprising in 1927. It reminds me of the young rebellious students today.
  • He initiated land reform campaigns against landlords and the Campaign to Suppress Counterrevolutionaries.
  • He launched the Sufan movement, which was a purge of perceived opponents. Then, he launched the Anti-Rightist Campaign, in which at least 550,000 people, mostly intellectuals and dissidents, were persecuted. Thinking not allowed, got it.
  • In 1958, he launched the Great Leap Forward, which led to the Great Chinese Famine and the deaths of 15–55 million people because communists are great at the economy and care about the people’s wellbeing.
  • In 1963, Mao launched the Socialist Education Movement.
  • In 1966, he initiated the Cultural Revolution, a program to remove “counter-revolutionary” elements from Chinese society. The revolution lasted ten years and was marked by violent class struggle and widespread destruction of cultural artifacts. Tens of millions of people were persecuted during the Revolution, while the estimated number of deaths ranged from hundreds of thousands to millions.

Why does all that seem so familiar? Oh, wait. I know why, and if you’re honest with yourself, you know it too. It’s staring you right in the face. But don’t worry. Maybe this time, those rewriting history, destroying monuments, and making up new “social-policy-driven” science are in the right, unlike at any time before in the history of the world.

  • People killed: 40–70 million
  • Approximate world population at the time: 2.6 billion
  • The success rate of genocide per planet population: (40/2600) * 100 ≈ 1.54%

Compared to Mao, Hitler is just some backwater local butcher, yet no one gives the old man any credit. Instead of screaming, “You’re such a Hitler!” maybe the young today should shout, “You’re such a Mao, Stalin, communist, socialist,” when comparing evil deeds with men of historical renown. Anyway, we’ve now covered the biggest mass murderers of all time, as far as we know. You might wonder why Mao is not in the number one spot. Surely, he did enough, right?

There are three types of people in this world:

  • Those who think Hitler was the worst that can possibly happen to us, the ideal picture of evil with that hideous mustache of his, lousy art, bunkers, tanks, and gas chambers. Bad, sure. Evil, from most points of view. But worst? Not even close!
  • Those who know their history and don’t fall for populistic ideas realize that victorious communists and socialists are by far the biggest threat to human civilization. Evil is often born of benevolent ideas. Let’s take the power from the few and give it to the many sounds nice, but it involves a lot of blood, and there is always someone at the top. Someone who now has radical ideas and complete, unopposed control over everything.
  • Then, there are those who know that all that was child’s play — hardly relevant and would merely make Daddy proud. Daddy? Yes, the alleged father of all these men, and yours as well. Those who aren’t fooled by tales of love but recognize boundless rage, jealousy, and absolute disdain for life when they see it.

Drumm roll, please! The number one biggest genocidal murderer in the history of time is…

The biggest mass murderer since the dawn of time, the ultimate genocide champion — undisputed, unopposed, without comparison, with no equals, those whom even monsters fear, the ruler of men and beast alike, who commands the stars and our hearts. I give you:

1st place — God almighty, himself

Source of image: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God

I bet you think I’m pulling your leg right now, but I promise I’m not. None of these men come even close to the old vengeful God in the sky.

The giver of life and mass extinguisher, all in one. The alpha and the omega. The beginning and, so often, the end of everyone that lived, when he unleashed his fury upon our realm. Talk about an abusive and possessive father, am I right? We might be made in his image, but we pale in comparison!

While we’ll have to take the old “religious historians” and allegedly his own prophets for their word, here are some of God’s most visible accomplishments when it comes to genocide:

  • The Great Flood: God sends a great flood to destroy all life on earth, sparing only Noah, his family, and the animals on the ark — each species of two specimens, male and female. Apparently, everyone was wicked, and since animals and babies breathe the same air as those unworthy adult humans, they should share their fate of being drowned alive. Lovely logic.
  • Sodom and Gomorrah: God destroys the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone due to their perversion, sparing only Lot and his family. Not the wife, though. She dared look back at the city and thus deserved a most terrible death of being transformed into a pillar of salt. Someone was salty, alright, I’m just not sure it was the wife.
  • Plagues of Egypt: God sends a series of ten plagues upon Egypt, resulting primarily in the starvation of the Egyptian people, sickness, and disease, culminating in the death of all firstborn sons in all of Egypt — babies included, to secure the release of the Israelites from slavery. Terrorize the more powerful nation by killing the innocent to force their hand in doing what you want them to do. It sounds awfully like “terrorism” to me, but what do I know?
  • The Destruction of Jericho: The Israelites conquer the city of Jericho by marching around its walls for seven days. On the seventh day, the walls collapse after the Israelites blow their trumpets as per God’s command, and the city is utterly destroyed, with its inhabitants killed. Open the gates, or else I’ll bring it down on your heads. “But the babies and the women?!” “Fuck ’em, your problem!”
  • The Slaughter of the Amalekites: God commands King Saul to utterly destroy the Amalekites, including men, women, children, and livestock, as punishment for their past sins. We mustn’t forget the livestock, or else someone might survive and have something to eat and we just can’t have that, can we?
  • The People of ‘Ad and Thamud: The Quran mentions the destruction of the ancient Arabian tribes of ‘Ad and Thamud, who rejected the messages of their prophets and faced divine punishment in the form of natural disasters or cataclysms. Koran also mentions all the other God’s greatest hits, not only the Bible. Then there’s the whole command to fight and capture every non-believer out there, forcing them to convert or, you know, die.

There are many more examples of why you don’t want to mess with the almighty eraser of life. Some are absolutely gruesome, like sending raging bears to teach children a lesson not to make fun of God’s followers. You know, by letting the bears kill them. I mean, point made. Point made!

We mentioned that Hitler was good at propaganda when he called his party the National Socialist German Workers’ Party, promising jobs and prosperity to German people before sending them all to die in war. Similarly, all of those socialist and communist ideologies promised a better life for the common people by punishing the wealthy, powerful elite, but then proceeded to starve, prosecute, torture, and murder millions of their people. I wonder where they got these great ideas.

Well, the almighty God is known as the God of love, the giver of life, and the one through whom we can find absolution. Yet, his alleged deeds show a different side of him: a dark, vengeful, jealous character willing to literally scorch Earth when anyone defies his will. I suppose love and hate are just different sides of the same stick, after all.

We have yet to mention the cruelest of his creations — hell!

No, subjugating and killing millions was never enough for our genocidal champion. Oh no! The creator of all deemed it necessary to ensure that all who disagree with and disobey him know no peace even after they die. There can be no salvation by death for those who step on the wrong God’s foot.

Instead, they are rewarded with an eternity in hell, being tortured for no good reason apart from not pleasing the almighty overlord. I mean, is there no limit to God’s cruelty? No peace even in death? Really? Come on, man! God truly deserves to be at the top of our list, wouldn’t you agree?

  • People killed: Everyone in the world, animals included, apart from one family that was speared.
  • Approximate world population at the time: I have no idea. The Great Flood erased all evidence. At least millions would be a decent guess, but then there would be billions upon billions of animals.
  • The success rate of genocide per planet population: Essentially 100%. One family and two of every species are not even worth mentioning.

What’s worse yet is that the threat of this genocidal God is not yet over

On the contrary, time is apparently due for his triumphant return. Judgement day is approaching, and what a fitting name it is. We will all be judged, and if history is any indication, judgment will be swift, harsh, and merciless.

I hear millions can’t wait for God’s return. It would appear they are irrationally confident they will be judged favorably when the old God of fear and fury returns to cleanse the world of unbelievers and sinners. I wouldn’t be so sure. It does not strike me that God offers a fair trial, legal representation, or lenient sentencing.

I, for one, hope they’re wrong. Because after seeing what God does to all the innocent babies and animals, who have nothing to do with disobeying his wishes, I would hate to have someone in my family or city who has pissed the old guy off.

The God of vengeance goes by many names, but the one most fitting would be: The God of collective punishment!

Transcript from the upcoming trial:

“Jack here fornicated with a pig.”

“He did what? That is despicable and a sin of the highest degree!” proclaims God.

“What is the suitable punishment then? Public execution with him getting consumed alive by those very same pigs, followed by an eternity in hell, my Lord?”

“That simply will not do. All who could have ever come into contact with him must share his fate. Destroy the whole continent. Leave nothing standing.”

“But Lord, all the innocent babies and animals — they will all suffer!”

“Did I stutter?” said the Lord with a thunderous voice, “Don’t just flood them; burn them to a crisp. The planet must be properly purged because of this man.”

“Very well, my Lord, who is all-knowing and all-powerful. Would removing the Earth’s protective shield suffice?”

“No. Throw a comet at his house. We can’t take any chances!”

Thus, a comet fell from the sky, and three billion people died as a result of God’s judgment. Justice was served.

End of transcript.

Sheldon, 13:35, The Newest Testament of God, First edition

Understanding and questioning everything should triumph blind faith and obedience

Sometimes, it’s wise to consider what you believe and worship. Social, religious, or political ideologies are extremely dangerous precisely because they don’t get questioned. You’re either with them or against them. Y

our job is not to question authority but to obey. You either follow along, or you die. Sure, they all sound nice in the beginning, but eventually, every single one of them turns on its people and mauls them!

When young people of today idolize terrorists, communists, socialists, or some new to them religion with cool scarfs, they should pause and consider the long-term consequences of what they’re choosing for their future. Sure, a little rebellion sounds fun, an ideology can give you purpose, and freedom fighter is a sexy designation, but has anyone considered what any of it means?

  • Where do these ideologies lead?
  • What do they stand for?
  • Who their idols are?

Evil is often born of good intentions

If you thought that most of the Genocidal Eleven from our list believe themselves to be evil, you are sorely mistaken. Every single one of them wholeheartedly believed that they were on the side of good, and at least in the beginning, so did their followers, snitches, persecutors, co-rebels, and executors. This is an important lesson.

You may believe that whatever God does is always good and just despite all the evidence to the contrary. You may argue that god, as the father of all, can mistreat, torture, and murder his “children” at will, but would you claim the same for human fathers?

  • Is a father killing his whole family because they disappointed him a normal, acceptable, loving act, or a horrible, despicable, evil deed born of madness?
  • Would you call such a father a murderer or a loving father who was within his right to kill his whole family?

I’ll let you be the judge of that, friends.

Anyways, let’s conclude these Genocial Olympics with a cautionary tale

The most vile and horrendous consequences for the masses can sprout from the most innocent, well-meaning beginnings.

  • A just rebellion against a tyrant turns to terror.
  • A strive for equality and collective goodness turns rotten and devours the very people it was supposed to elevate.
  • A relentless pursuit of profit becomes more important than the human cost it demands.
  • The act of loving creation, when met with disappointment, turns love into a jealous, murderous rage, eradicating all life on the planet.

Let us hope we do not live through the next Genocidal Olympics finalist next time men or gods decide to set their eyes on the podium. One thing is certain.

  • As long as the next big star of genocide fame is human, we stand a chance of survival, as their reach is usually localized and power somewhat limited.
  • If we live long enough to see the return of the old vengeful God, then we’re all screwed, and civilization will undoubtedly have to begin anew.

Some of us would call that a tragedy, but apparently, more than half the world’s population sees it as hope and salvation for the just and to hell with all who aren’t as pure and faithful as them. “May they burn in an eternal fire, as long as it’s not us.” Socialists, communists, and religious followers have that in common.

I can just feel their saintly love. Can’t you?
