When I listen to music, I feel at ease. I don’t know why. But it makes me feel good. After giving birth, it becomes my refuge from the craziness that life throws at me.

Every time my ear registers the tenderness rhythm of music, my brain took a tea break. I feel my body is drifting around as if it was gliding on ice.

So coming with 7 songs that I’m currently loving is a piece of cake! Here are my top 7 songs:

  1. Twinkle Twinkle Little Start
  2. If You're Happy and You Know It
  3. The Wheels on the Bus
  4. Take My Hand — Emily Hackett
  5. Beautiful in White — Westlife
  6. Take My Breath Away — Berlin

You might think that I’m nut to list nursery rhymes as part of my top 7. But, let me explain.

You see, there three songs are my daughter’s favorite. I noticed that every time Twinkle Twinkle Little Star is on, she starts swinging her hands above her head. As she tries to follow the tune, she will at time lose her balance.

My baby pushes her hands together as If You’re Happy and You Know It tune unfold before her. It almost took away my breath as she break into a big smile and gave her a beaming look. I’d rush to give her a big cuddle because I couldn’t resist it.

Before having baby, music could only lift my mood. Nowadays, it lifts my soul. I salute to music for giving magical moments.

Music is therapy. Music moves people. It connects people in ways that no other medium can. It pulls heart strings. It acts as medicine.
