Napa Valley was a perfect example of how “going with the flow” can some times be the best route. Our original plan to stay in San Francisco was delayed due to nearly every hotel being at capacity with people attending a Oracle conference.

Temporarily parked in a parking garage in Frisco, we booked a room for the night at the Napa Valley Hotel & Suites. Napa Valley was also a great example judging a book by it’s cover. Instead of the experienced wino, sitting at a vineyard, reading a book and eating cheese, we found there to be quite the night life.

Upon our arrival. the concierge was very friendly and eager to tell us about the town. He gave us a map of local attractions suggesting we start at Bounty Hunter Wine Bar & Smokin’ BBQ. Not being the types to turn down BBQ, we went in that direction.

We ordered the Charcuterie Plate consisting of smoked and cured meats, two flights of wine, and a Pulled Pork Sandwich. Dinner was served.
