Paso Robles

It has been said, “…you can’t have a rainbow, without a little rain,” well Paso Robles was the lull of the trip.

I only say that Paso Robles didn’t make the highlight reel of the trip because three days earlier Kimmi and I had driven 13 hours from Denver to Las Vegas, then spent three crazy days in Las Vegas. Paso Robles was a place to cut our drive-time to Napa Valley in half, we checked into a hotel for a few hours to get some sleep and got back on the road.

The upside of our stay was when we were upgraded to a suite for the same price as a regular room. We got to our room, kicked off our shows, and enjoyed the peace and quit.

The next morning we took advantage of the hotels breakfast bar including omelettes, a make-your-own waffle station, cereals, muffins and juices before taking Highway 1 towards Napa Valley.
