My daughter and family are on a concurrent great adventure in Great Britain while I am having my August Amsterdam Adventure. They are biking and camping, but the camping part, which involves a tent, etc., was planned to end after a week. At the end of that part of the trip, they packed up the things they would no longer need and shipped them home or, more correctly, shipped them to me.

I don’t know what time the camping gear will arrive, so I planned for today to be a delivery day. I ordered from the supermarket, mainly things I would find difficult to carry home on my bike, and also placed an order from a local store that is known for quick deliveries.

Tomorrow, I see my physiotherapist, and afterward, I‘ll go to dinner at a restaurant I’ve always wanted to try.
