A Breath of Fresh Air

A place to start fresh and reclaim the very best possible world for our kids.

A few of us, mainly parents from around Ontario, want a place to share our ideas, thoughts, and stories to better understand and navigate the world as we watch the health care and education system show signs of looming privatization on top of ongoing concerns with climate change and viruses in the classroom all exacerbating the mental health issues facing our kids.

Let’s get real. We’re not immune to existential dread. It’s a scary world out there for the grown ups, too!

We want to help one other, and YOU, to get through each day as we continue to fight for change. Our current government is not going to work towards the solutions we need, so we have to work together to advocate as a united front. Even if you don’t live in Ontario, if you’re in Canada, the U.S., or the U.K., chances are you live somewhere with similar problems.

Hate is exhausting and counterproductive. We’re fighting from a position of love and compassion, always scrutinizing policies, never people.

We’re hoping to provide the most current research and data on climate and covid, at least one way of fighting for clean air in schools through Ontario School Safety’s activism at Queen’s Park, lots of stories about how we’re helping our little ones manage it all, and maybe some school lunch ideas and cat videos in the mix!
