London, 23 October 2015 — A Cloud Guru, the social learning platform for cloud professionals, will be attending Web Summit in Dublin from 3 to 5 November as part of the Web Summit ALPHA program. This is part of a series of events supporting the launch of the A Cloud Guru platform.

A Cloud Guru enables IT professionals to be part of an online community focused on improving knowledge of cloud computing. In conjunction with attendance at Web Summit, A Cloud Guru will be speaking at and sponsoring the AWS User Group Meetups in Melbourne (28 October), Dublin (3 November during Web Summit), and London (25 November) within the next month.

“We see Web Summit as the premier event in the world to promote yourself as a startup, but also as a way to connect with a global startup community.” said founder Ryan Kroonenburg about being part of the ALPHA program at Web Summit. “A Cloud Guru is a social platform progressing the education of IT professionals through a community, being at Web Summit allows us to engage one on one with that community in a way we couldn’t do anywhere else.”

Founded in London in 2015, A Cloud Guru has seen strong growth attracting over 2,000 paying users a month, with over 18,000 users in 9 months, all done with no advertising spend and achieving profitability from its first month without any external funding.

If you want to meet the A Cloud Guru team at Web Summit, the three founders Ryan Kroonenburg, Sam Kroonenburg and Ant Stanley will be at V102 in the Village Green area at Web Summit on Tuesday 3 November. Alternatively you can meet the co-founders at the AWS Dublin User Group Meetup later that evening at the Button Factory near Temple Bar from 17:30.
