The Steam meeting

In the West Midlands a group of Steampunks meet up every fortnight in a per-selected location. This week the group met up in a pub called ‘The lamp’ in Dudley.

The Members all started to file in in small groups until eight members are gathered. The Group start off with introducing new members of which there are two.

when the drinks have been brought the conversation starts though not before the announcements are made about up coming events such as their Christmas party and where they will be meeting the next time.

Members bring along on going project that their stuck on and seek help from others. One such project involved a Long red coat with a fur collar and cuffs and a problem with the lining. The problem is quickly solved with the help of two other sewers and pins are put in place.

The evening continues with conversations about new ideas for new projects as well as discussions on televisions programs. The whole evening was entertaining especially with such Interesting people. so why not find you nearest Steam meet up
