Hovering art director crew is hovering

This past week, we welcomed Kevin Zeller to our design team, launched some improvements on Red Bull Radio, kicked off a project with Nike, and did not resist the urge to buy a fidget spinner. We also found some time to internet. Here are the highlights.

Lab notes from ZEIT ONLINE
Editor Jochen Wegner shares interesting insights into some of their latest projects such as the Z2X conference for young visionaries and their political dating platform, Deutschland spricht. (Clickbaity headline complimentary.)

@ev in the New York Times
“Medium hasn’t solved the problem of publishing on the internet, but neither has anyone else.”

The definitive story of Ghettotech
As told by those who did it, to our friends at Red Bull Music Academy

The new Framer
Sheesh.

Carhartt WIP shot a skate video in Sicily
Think: a skate video for people who don’t really care about skating.

Esquire piece on WeRateDogs
(Not written in DoggoLingo.)

An introduction to making music
Very, very late pass but we haven’t done this here in a while and there’s no way anyone even slightly interested in the topic can miss this.

Someone made a digital fidget spinner
Because of course someone did.

P.S.: In similarly compelling business ideas:
