FutureMe

Map it. Track it. Make you happen.

“AI will increasingly replace repetitive jobs, not just for blue-collar work, but a lot of white-collar work.” — Kai Fu Lee, an artificial intelligence expert and venture capitalist (Fortune, 2019)

We know that the future of work is rapidly changing. According to Kai Fu Lee, an artificial intelligence expert and venture capitalist, 40% of the world’s jobs will be replaced by robots capable of automating tasks. Both blue-collar and white-collar professions will be affected.

“Our rapidly changing world and global economy require that students leave our schools with the ability to be adaptive, agile, and ready to thrive in a society, with careers that have yet to be imagined.” — Stella M. Kemp, Ed.D. Superintendent, Santa Clara Unified School District

Now more than ever, students need tools to help them envision a world that doesn’t exist. It is even harder for students that come from immigrant families to imagine being successful in a country where they are the first generation. We found that students need a way to see themselves in this world as active members of society.

How might we enhance school engagement for high school students from immigrant families and support them to develop a sense of personal and interpersonal agency so they feel confident in facing future challenges?

FutureMe is a platform for high school students that helps them plan for and achieve success now and in the future, by allowing them to become adaptive, agile, and future-ready life-long learners that are ready to thrive in school, society, and beyond.

FutureMe provides students with reflectiveness, freedom of choice, and equal accessibility to resources and learning plans all in a collaborative and supportive environment.
