Peeping through window gradually approaching,
you stayed there precisely waiting.
I could sense paranoia awakening.

Neither were we close nor familiar.
I knew I shouldn’t have provided you shelter
that horrid night when everything was unclear,
whilst their words bled my ear.

Silently moving, seeping in my skin.
Crawling the way up through thick and thin.
Sucking my mind, poisoning it with the toxins.

Cunningly waiting for that apt blitz;
I was alarmed by sudden glitz.
Leashing when shields were down.
When I was nothing but a mocking clown.

You hacked it
Nailed it.
Overpowered it.

You won the battle.
But you were a fool to believe that you won the war.
For you hunted the one who knew anything but to surrender.
For you attacked a warrior who knew best — her spear.
