I’d fight
One Million Battles
For you

Wage war against
My enemies’
Enemies
Freely

If it meant
You’d be
Here forever

Angels will come —
I’ll deny them
Access

What love I’ll know
Here
Without you?

Legions descending
Down the clouds
Will be

Blinded by our
Bright love.
If they

Still fuss.
I’ll walk through Hell
Barefoot

And, I’ll
Enjoy
Every Moment
Openly & Willingly

Zev knew me before I knew him. Or, maybe he knew of me before I knew his words. Whichever the case, I was promptly taken by his words and read him as often as I could. I am glad that I have done so. From what I have come to know — artistically speaking, he has no fear. He can wield words in a way not many Writers I have seen can. As time goes on, I am prayerful that he will get better, wiser, and stronger too. This concludes the second set of Young Writers of Medium collaborations. Thank you for reading.
