Every time I changed my perception
You transformed your depiction -
You’re a master at disguising
All the bits of your personality
Poking out from your facade.
I always framed things to
Intentionally evade the disgusting
Smirk on your face when a single
Tear dripped from beneath
My rose-tinted, gold-rimmed glasses.
I self-inflicted blindness
To avoid your true colors;
Now darkness is all I see.
