Could it be possible that the more advanced we become the more regressive our knowledge?!
HEALING!
Healing is a misunderstood concept.
One never truly heals.
What we mistake for healing
is in fact a hardened callus that protects
the once very tender flesh below.
At various times in our lives
something or someone
will touch us in such a way
that will penetrate
the tenderness below our protective callus
reminding us that once we hurt so very badly.
The Pain!
It is akin to giving birth.
It is said
if mothers truly remembered
the intense pain of giving birth
they would never again
find themselves in that place.
The Joy!
But who among us
could deny the beauty
that comes from such pain?
Redemption!
Healing is not found in our efforts to forget
but
in our ability to forgive
True Love is forgiveness, thus we heal.
