Heeding the starlit night

A nonet challenge

Pondering about our existence,
yonder, I gaze at starlit sky.
Earth — a mere speck in the vast
yet we divide apart.
Race, caste, creed, sex — vain!
Human we are,
Humane we
ought to
rein.
