This is the girl who owns her place
This is the girl who owns her face
.
This is the girl that owns it

This is the girl who is what she knows
This is the girl who dares winds to blow
.
This is the girl that rides thunder

This is the girl who cries in the dark
This is the girl who’s scared in the park
.
This is the girl that eats anger

This is the girl who fights for what’s right
This is the girl who holds you at night
.
This is a girl grown to woman

This is dedicated to my strong and repetitive daughters.
