Impermanence

This place so impermanent.
Can slip off my feet any time,

Yet I built a castle on it.
I use the heaviest stone to build it,

As if I’ll stay here forever.
No, I don’t worry about what’s coming,

Should I? Or shouldn’t I?

This movie will end someday.
Its film will run out someday,

But others who are still here,
It’ll keep playing for them.

So what are you holding onto?
Your frail ego?

Your distasteful pride?
Or Your blinded perception?

Why not release?

Your nurturing soul
Your unconditional love,

Unlock your chakra,
Why not spread joy?

Why not do what you were born to do and what is natural to do?
What are we so afraid of?

Does the illusion please you?
Does it keep you protected?

Or does it cripple you?
Either way, be free.
