What Time Knows

A Fibonacci poem of fear

Fear
first
foremost
mammogram
purgatory waits
personal silent chambered hell
anticipating bells ringing future frames of me
I spiral outward from a controlled centre, embodying worst-case scenarios
begging, please, hold my hands in the suffocating dark
soothe my weary thundering heart
tell me, will it be
malignant?
benign?
time
knows

Special thanks to Dennett for introducing me to this poetic form based on my favourite mathematical sequence.
