UNREQUITED WORDS PRESENTS

When He Died

A Poem on how Death strikes

The sun’s shine, no more warm,
The moon’s rays, no more cool,
The child’s smile, no more happy,
The lily’s bloom, no more beautiful.

For,
It felt like all the light in the world had been sucked out.

Music, no more enthralling,
My poems, all a babble,
Living, a burden.

For,
My only muse had left me for good.

Where’s the joy in joy,
Where is the hope in hope,
Where is the smile in a smile,

When every feeling I feel feels like Sorrow.
When all the beauty in the world
That would turn me on, has now turned on me.
