Hello March, and hello to our community here on Medium. It’s been a strange time, both in the world and on the platform. But we plod on.
That slow, creeping realization that something is shifting has been getting larger and larger in the passing weeks.
We are undoubtedly in uncertain times, and the build up is getting too large to ignore, wherever we are in the world. There is a unity to the evolving chaos — it includes us all.
The way the world seems to be waking up, blinking away the last traces of a dream that was never quite real to begin with.
We were told a story about progress. About a future that would be better, brighter, more just. The illusions that once held societies together are now starting to crack. Utopian dreams — visions of progress, prosperity, and unity — are unraveling, revealing the dystopian undercurrents beneath them. The ideals people clung to, the myths they built their worlds upon, are being exposed for what they are.
And now, the burning question remains: what comes next?
