Taking Things for Granted

I have a friend named Granted.

I take things for him all the time.

You know, like I take my friends and give them to him.

I take my family and give them to him.

I take my health and my time for him.

I think sometimes I’m even willing to take my life for him.

It’s like I’ll take anything for Granted.

If I keep taking things for him I’ll have nothing left.

I’ve known many other people who are so tempted to take things for this person.

Granted must have so many things now.

You don’t have to take everything for Granted — no matter what he says.

Hi, I’m Michael and this is my daily project where I write about diverse ideas.

This is Dose #84. If you liked it you can hold down the 👏 and follow.
