The Heart Is Where the Home Is

Kind of literally.

Your experience of life has much more to do with the state of your heart than your specific circumstances.

Some circumstances are awful, but the way we process and experience those circumstances have to do with the state of our hearts.

The way that we experience life has a lot to do with our hearts — maybe more than it has to do with our circumstances.

The heart is really where we live. It’s the real us.

Good things can happen and an unhealthy heart can’t experience them as good things. Bad things can happen and a healthy heart can bring peace and rest.

The journey of life is best lived from the inside out, not the outside in.

The primary thing to consider is how the inside is doing.

Your heart is your home and from it flows your life.
