About A Day in a Life

“Day in a Life,” or DIAL, gives writers the opportunity to capture a day in their life which was extraordinary, somewhat exceptional, or perhaps only average. The stories are written on Medium, where it’s easy to combine written words with photos and other media.

Once someone begins writing about a day or date in their life, others can respond with a story about what they were doing at the same or time. I’m hoping that this can begin building a “mosaic” of stories which explore the different events or moments that were taken place at around the same time.

Starting a DIAL Thread

You can submit an account of a day in your life by posting in the Google Group. Describe what happened, and why this day stands out as exceptional or noteworthy. I will work with you to develop your DIAL story into a post on Medium.

Responding to a DIAL Thread

You can respond to a DIAL story thread on Medium, or by replying to someone’s post in the discussion group. If you’re not sure how to get started, send me an email.
