This post is going to be short as it was a beach relaxing day and I have to wake up early tomorrow.

We started the morning renting a moped. Which is the smartest stupid thing we did. Lots of tourists rent mopeds and get severe injuries due to accidents. We knew this going in and decided to risk it for the freedom to travel and cost effectiveness. I guess you could say we were lucky, but we were going slow and being careful.

We drove to Freedom beach, which is a little secluded beach that you need to hike to. SO PRETTY!

The water is super clear and the sand is the perfect consistency and temperature.

We basically just spent all day roaming the city on our moped and swimming in the beaches.

For dinner, we decided to try Tiger Prawns which are basically giant shrimp.

Liz’s hand for scale. Honestly, not that good. Maybe the restaurant didn’t cook it well or something but it’s not as tender as regular shrimp. And it’s pretty expensive. They’re about ~$5 USD each.

At night, we decided to try a fish spa. These little fish come and nibble on your feet and supposedly exfoliate your skin. It feels it worked and one session of fish feet was cheaper than one tiger prawn. Go figure. It tickles like all hell though. They’re basically nibbling on you.

Tomorrow we’re going to go to Phang Nga national park!
