First day with local food
I started my local food research saturday afternoon with my mom. We decided to go in the city centre because we remembered that there were shops at km 0 or without packaging.
Zero Bakery is a bakery that sells bread, cakes, biscuits and gastronomy made with Bergamo products. Also sells other packaged products, which come from farms in the Bergamo area.
I buy bread, whole corn cakes and rice.
We rested in the shop, we sat at a table and ate a local icecream made with Presolana products.
Then we went to our trusted grocery store and we asked which products were grown locally. We bought a pumpkin, salad (grown on the hills in bergamo upper town), zucchini and grapes. We also bought honey produced by a local beekeeper.
We went home and start cooking dinner!!
We prepared a delicious LOCAL pumpkin risotto and we all ate it together!
