little cinder cones, oaks and evergreens

patterns in mistletoe and oak

vibrant lovely madrone chaos

textures

dewdrops

decay / transition / madrone stump to humus / hues of change

nothing stays the same

lichen ball with pine bark

cool (traditional) chartreuse

Then Home…

to a warm fire

…..and the surprise anthropomorphising of the madrone log…. noticed only *after* I’d thrown it on the fire.
