Simplicity

I love experimental composition and complex production, but on the other hand I think about how often it’s the simplest of things that sound the best…

that one sound that makes an entire song.

Amazing piano gets me every time, and I’ve been loving this song because of it.

It’s easy to get caught up in being as abstract and unique as possible, but surely sometimes that just complicates things unnecessarily. If a piece of music is filled with beautiful piano playing and not much else, but it sounds amazing, does it really matter how advanced the production is?
