Holiday on the moon
“Remember that disastrous year when we went to the moon?!”
“Oh god yeah when it rained ash all the time and Barney took his suit off and got crushed?”
“LOL yeah. Barney! What a tube!”
“And it didn’t look anything like we’d expected — like we so thought it was going to be all silver and shiny — I mean, when you look at it from here it’s all glowing and amazing, right?”
“ — yeah and when we got there it was just like craters and rocks and we might as well have been in the back yard making mud patties”
“O.M.G. That was the worst.”
“And so dark”
“Yeah, right, the weather was rubbish!”
“Would you go back again?”
“Are you joking, Jasmine?”
“Would you?”
“No way. I mean the view was amazing, don’t get me wrong, but no view is worth that journey”
“Where are you going this year then?”
“Thought I’d go to Manchester this year to visit Irene, I’ve always wanted to go to the Arndale Centre”
