Freeletics — Weeks 7 to 9

In week 7, I hit the wall HARD. Even though I managed to still average about 4 workouts per week, I felt like I was going through the motions and not really pushing myself to my limit.

This was my excuse through these 3 weeks

Moreover, without a pull-up bar, I have been limited to a select few workouts I can do. I’m going to have to figure something out for the final 6 weeks of the program.

Here was my routine over the last 3 weeks:

  • Thursday (pt.1): Atlas (37:47) + Poseidon (22:13)
  • Thursday (pt.2): Sit-ups (100 in 4:08) + Leg Lever (50 in 1:38)
  • Friday: Metis (8:32) + Venus (23:08)
  • Tuesday: Hera (35:40)
  • Wednesday: Aphrodite (36:27)
  • Thursday: Atlas (30:42)
  • Friday: Pikes (50 in 2:22) + Crunches (100 in 4:40)
  • Sunday: Pikes (50 in 1:54) + Sit-ups (100 in 4:03)
  • Monday: Atlas (30:29)
  • Tuesday: Sit-ups (250 in 16:29) + Pikes (50 in 3:00)
  • Thursday: Pikes (50 in 2:21) + Apollon (32:51)
  • Friday: Dione (44:12)
  • Saturday: Pikes (50 in 1:33) + Push-ups (50 in 1:40)
  • Monday: Pikes (50 in 1:39) + Atlas (29:40)

Challenges with Diet

From the photos below you can see visually that I have lost weight — that was not my goal. In fact, I have shed close to 5 pounds since starting on a Vegan diet. Not good.

This not only affected my endurance and strength during workouts — keeping me from really smashing my personal bests but I’m losing muscle mass.

But I’m committed to the diet and will probably consult some vegan bodybuilders on Instagram.

Anyway, stay tuned for the last 2 posts in this series and i’ll wrap it all up to tell you what I thought about Freeletics.

As always, if you are looking for a meal plan and full routine for Freeletics, I have provided the link below. The meal plan I use is the same but I have modified the routine for my own goals.
