Luxury watch without the luxury price

Coming from the world of business, how you dress can make or break a deal. And so, I felt the need to adorn my wrist with a flashy materialistic object in an attempt to woo some unsuspecting clients.

I knew that I needed something that looked luxury but without the typical price tag of $000’s.

This is when I came across Filippo Loreti through a Facebook Ad.

Their value prop is literally: “want to own a luxury watch without paying the high price tag?”

Why yes I do.

Through their Kickstarter campaign, I managed to score the early bird on 2 watches for €278 which was approx $450 AUD including shipping. Getting the extra watch for my brother allowed me to score a bonus collectors box for a total of €718 in savings!!!

Although these numbers are usually a little exaggerated on Kickstarter projects, this is still a pretty good deal compared to the luxury watches that go for thousands.

Since this was their second watch campaign, I knew they’d come close to their delivery est. of March 2017 as they’d have logistics and processes figured out from the previous campaign.

The watches arrived mid August (only 5 months late which isn’t that bad for Kickstarter) In-fact, you may as well add an extra 6 months to any estimated delivery date as delays along the supply chain and logistical challenges are almost inevitable.

Limited edition Venice Blue Gold and Black Gold watches with the collectors box.

These watches look fucking fantastic (my shitty photos don’t do them justice) However, my initial thoughts were mixed. I loved the blue watch I had and how it looked however, I wanted something I could wear every day and was a little more subtle like the black version which was my brothers. I didn’t want to come across as a rich looking prick to people which is what it felt like at first before I got comfortable with wearing it.

We’ve received a lot of compliments on these stunning watches and after searching online, i’ve struggled to find anything that even comes close to competing with these watches on quality, design and price. Super happy with the purchase and it was well worth the wait.

Definitely worth the buy.

I challenge you to find me a watch that can compete with these.

How did you find the article? Was there any information missing? What would you like to see reviewed next?
