Top-of-mind today is a step in the right direction on greater AI transparency, the SJ Mercury News reports that Meta, beginning in 2024, will require advertisers to disclose when AI is used for sensitive issues. Failure to disclose will result in ad rejection and potential penalties. Also on the ad front, Google is permitting advertisers to test AI within its Performance Max platform.

For those who have been miffed by the lack of more recent information on ChatGPT, they’ve recently announced access to live internet content. Tech&Learning offers a good analysis of the potential impact on students, both good and bad.

And Plai Labs announced a cool text-to-video generator that takes a selfie as input. Note that you’ll need to be on a Discord account but the prompts are pretty straightforward.
