Why do we grow up hating our body hair? Billie’s The Rules of Body Hair campaign was created in response to this very question, challenging society to re-examine their own relationships with the rules, norms, and conditioned feelings towards body hair.

We are incredibly excited to be launching A Kids Book About Body Hair in conjunction with Billie’s campaign.

This book gives kids and grownups a tool to begin positive dialogue around body hair: how it protects you and your body, where it sprouts, and all the ways it can change as you grow. Most importantly, this book will empower kids to talk about their fuzz, be respectful of the fuzz of others, and make their own decisions about their body hair.

Georgina Gooley (she/her) wants everyone young and old to love their body hair. She co-founded Billie, a razor company that celebrates body hair and champions womankind, to undo the harmful pressures and stigmas women face about their bodies. She hopes everyone can grow up in a world where it’s normal to be stubbly, smooth, or anything in between.
